Description
The sealer is NOT suitable for bags with an AL (aluminum) layer. The sealer will seal other types of bags without any problems. To seal bags with an aluminum layer, use the Hacona type S.
Professional hand-held impulse sealer with cutting blade for sealing foil bags and foils. The sealer has a robust aluminium body and is also suitable for operations with a high workload.
The table sealer type C is very easy to operate and requires minimal work space. It is suitable for a wide range of packaging applications in production, order fulfillment or in the office environment. Simply connect it to a 230 V power supply and it is ready for operation.
All type C machines work on the impulse sealing principle. The melting wire only heats up after the sealing strip is closed. This guarantees maximum safety and energy savings.
Type C impulse machines are manufactured in 5 different lengths. This wide range ensures maximum flexibility in choosing the right machine size. Choose the machine size according to the largest bag size used in the packaging process.
The surface of the machine is powder coated in orange. It is suitable for general use and can be used in all industries.
You can purchase a work table for the welder to extend its use.
The sealer is suitable for:
Doypack bags, flat bottom bags with zipper, prismatic and flat bags, various types of foils and sleeves
The sealer is not suitable for:
bags with an inner aluminum layer and materials thicker than 200 microns

SETTING OF THE SEALING LENGTH
With the type C welder you do not set the melting temperature, but only the length of the melting cycle. The length of the fusing cycle depends on the thickness of the material and is set on the controller (scale 1-10). The thicker the material, the longer the fusing time.
The LED light above the rotary knob shows the current status of the welder. If the LED is not lit, the machine is disconnected from the mains (machine is switched off). In this state the machine can be stored or repaired.
By plugging the welder into a power outlet, the LED light turns yellow, i.e. it is in standby mode.
The average consumption in standby mode is approx. 2 W/hr (electricity).
As soon as you press the welding arm, the LED changes from yellow to red. The red LED informs you that the welder is currently melting. After the set interval, the melting stops and the red LED changes back to yellow.
For a perfect weld, we always recommend leaving the arm closed under pressure for 1 - 2 seconds after the fusing cycle is complete. You can then remove the bag and the machine is ready for the next cycle.

The maximum material thickness (absolute material thickness) for all Type C welders is:
- PE Polyethylene 200 microns
- PP Polypropylene 200 microns
- Multilayer laminated film 100 microns (depending on the type of lamination!)
