Manual, permanently heated clamp welder suitable for all types of our bags.
The welding rails of the tongs are heated permanently (like an iron), the actual welding takes place by pressing the handle. Before welding, you set the temperature using the thermostat from 1 - 8. The temperature must correspond to the thickness and material of the bags to be welded. Likewise, the time the jaws are closed must be adjusted to the material being welded to prevent overfusion. Above the temperature controller there are two indicator diodes that signal the connection to the mains and the actual heating of the welding strips.
TheTeflon-coated jaws are easy to clean of residual plastic build-up. The jaws of the welder are shaped like the waves you know, for example, from food packaging. This weld shape results in an airtight and watertight weld that cannot be opened except by shearing or using really brute force. Very suitable, for example, for welding coffee bags or loose tea. Thanks to the weld thickness of 12 mm there is no risk of aroma leakage or wetting.
The pliers are easy to carry and handle thanks to their low weight. When inactive, they can be switched off using the rotary controller, and thanks to the spacing feet they can be safely placed anywhere without burning the substrate. The pliers have rubber handles so they do not slip out of the hand when working. No fusible wire is used in the pliers and they are almost maintenance-free, unlike conventional impulse welders.
The welding pliers are available in three lengths: 20cm, 30cm and 40cm.
Attention! Since both jaws are permanently heated and are not protected in any way, we recommend wearing protective gloves to avoid burns in case of careless handling.
