Warning labels

Description

Warning shipping labels are used to clearly mark shipments and provide text and pictograms on how to handle them correctly. They help reduce the risk of damage during transportation and storage, although they do not replace high-quality and careful packaging in themselves.

The labels are made of durable material with a strong adhesive and a protective surface finish, which makes them hold well even in more demanding transportation conditions. The distinctive color design ensures good visibility and understandable pictograms allow for correct interpretation regardless of the language.

Note: Simply sticking a handling label does not guarantee gentle handling of the shipment. For greater protection, we recommend that you arrange appropriate additional services with the carrier.

Stickers marked "Fragile" or “This side up ” do not replace proper packaging. In the event of inadequate packaging, the carrier may reject a damage claim, even if the shipment was marked with handling symbols. Always use sturdy packaging and fill the free space with suitable filling material.

Overview of the most common handling symbols:
Fragile – Marking for glass, electronics and other sensitive products
This side up – Designed for shipments that must remain in a specific position, typically containing liquids.

Label placement:
Most often, labels are glued to the top of the package near the address label so that they are clearly visible. It is recommended to place the “This side up ” marking on the sides of the box.
