Description
The welder is not suitable for paper bags with AL layer from the 74099 series (KRAFT/ AL/ CPP material), as the material has more than 200 my and the welder does not pierce it. Other bags will close without any problems.
Professional manual impulse welder with cutting knife for sealing foil bags and foil. The welder has a robust aluminium body and is also suitable for high workload operations.
The C-type benchtop welder is very easy to operate and requires minimal working space. It is suitable for a wide range of packaging applications in production, order fulfillment or office environments. Simply connect it to a 230V power supply and it is ready for operation.
All Type C machines operate on the pulse sealing principle. The fusing wire is heated only after the sealing bar has been closed. This guarantees maximum safety and energy saving.
Type C impulse sealing machines are available in 5 different lengths. This wide range ensures maximum flexibility in selecting the right machine size. Choose the machine size according to the largest bag size used in the packaging process.
The surface of the machine is silver anodised. By anodizing (surface treatment) the machine frame, the surface of the aluminium profile is absolutely smoothed and hardened. This surface treatment makes the machine frame even more resistant to scratches and mechanical impacts. A welding machine with this surface treatment is suitable for the food, pharmaceutical or some sectors of the chemical industry. ATTENTION: This surface is not acid resistant!
You can purchase a work table for the welder to extend its use.

SETTING OF THE SEALING LENGTH
With the type C welder you do not set the melting temperature, but only the length of the melting cycle. The length of the fusing cycle depends on the thickness of the material and is set on the controller (scale 1-10). The thicker the material, the longer the fusing time.
The LED light above the rotary knob shows the current status of the welder. If the LED is not lit, the machine is disconnected from the mains (machine is switched off). In this state the machine can be stored or repaired.
By plugging the welder into a power outlet, the LED light turns yellow, i.e. it is in standby mode.
The average consumption in standby mode is approx. 2 W/hr (electricity).
As soon as you press the welding arm, the LED changes from yellow to red. The red LED informs you that the welder is currently melting. After the set interval, the melting stops and the red LED changes back to yellow.
For a perfect weld, we always recommend leaving the arm closed under pressure for 1 - 2 seconds after the fusing cycle is complete. You can then remove the bag and the machine is ready for the next cycle.

- PP Polypropylene 200 microns
- Multilayer laminated film 100 microns (depending on the type of lamination!)
